Our MissionThe mission of Ruiz School is to have a systematic and continuous partnership between the school, home and community which will create a positive and challenging learning environment for ALL students and foster a climate of ongoing educational improvement especially in Reading and the CPS Reading framework. Our learning environment will utilize excellence, responsibility, and diversity as tools to foster development of intellectual, social and technological skill which promote academic growth for ALL students. Our VisionThe vision of the Irma C. Ruiz School community is to provide comprehensive, theme bases, integrated educational programs which allow ALL students access to opportunities to become self-directed, literate, engaged learners who are committed to the highest standards of academic achievement based on their unique characteristics.
